Due to a difficult situation within the Europe Union there are rather big problems to obtain visa for Austria or any other Schengen countries in the EU. Please contact the Austrian Consulate or Embassy in your country early enough!

If you need an official invitation for your VISA requests, please inform us as soon as possible – not later than August 15, 2011.
We will be happy to send the invitation to you respectively your dancers, officials etc.

Attention:
The IDO-representatives of the VISA-requesting country are fully responsible that all participants of the travel to the IDO World Streetdance Championships in Graz will be together during the stay in Graz and the return to your country. Advice: You should present a list of ALL members of the group at the entry into Austria and the same list when leaving. This list enables you to prove that all people of the group who have entered will be leaving Austria together. Be sure you have this list stamped by the Austrian custom officers when leaving.

Problem:
If one or more members of your travel group will not be with you when you leave Austria this is a severe break of Austrain (and Schengen) laws and might (surely will) occur big problems for the dancers of your country to receive VISA for the EU-countries the next time – and for the IDO, because the IDO has sent out the invitation.

Please be aware and avoid this situation!
You must also be aware, that you need a health-insurance for the time in Austria to be presented with visa-request for all members of your travel group.
